WILD about you!!

This past weekend I attended a local crop & had a blast crafting with 40 other women.  As a group we are people who might not normally mix (at least not all of us), but the coming together in the spirit of community, sharing our passion for crafting, creates an incredibly tight bond.  As we come in the door of the venue loaded down with every kind of craft tool and tote imagineable to "set up shop" the magic happens.  We happily throw off and leave the responsibilities/concens of everyday life at the door & are drawn into the present moment of creativity where we thrive.  Many of the women strictly scrapbook their family memories.  Others, like myself, enjoy working on anything from a mixed media project to card making.
This particular event provided classes teaching a variety of different techniques.  I took a class that taught the technique of masking for card making.  This card was made using Tim Holtz Distrssed Inks.  The sentiment stamp and the elephant are from Gina K Designs.  The elephant was actually stamped on a piece of cardstock, colored with colored pencils, cut out and glued down to add a little dimension.  I enjoyed making this and hope you enjoy it as well.
Happy Craftin'
